Your listing with NAWM will allow persons in your community and beyond to contact you directly regarding their need for a clergyperson or wedding officiant.

This resource for engaged couples and others who may need assistance is being promoted in the following ways:

  • Through strong relationships between NAWM and major bridal publications and wedding-related Internet sites.
  • With listings on all major internet search engines as well as specialty locations.
  • By having members reciprocate a link on their individual web site back to NAWM's site.

Members will have special access to the members only section. There you will find the NAWM ceremony builder. This will be the premiere wedding ceremony builder available anywhere for wedding services. The ceremony builder will have several outlines for wedding ceremonies, and then by cutting and pasting from a wide variety of vows, prayers, poems, readings,sermons, songs, traditions etc.. you will be able to customize all your ceremonies to reflect each unique couple. The ceremony builder will continue to grow as NAWM members add their own vows, prayers etc., to the database.

NAWM will be writing and publishing the National Association of Wedding Ministers Handbook. This will be written by ten of the site's members which
represent a large cross section of interests, religious backgrounds etc.. This book will contain ten ready to go ceremonies, selections of vows, prayers
etc., from our ceremony builder, plus information for clergy on wedding services, dress, advertising etc. Members will receive this book at a substantial
savings.

Beginning in 2005 or 2006 NAWM will be sponsoring an anual Conference for all ministers interested in improving their marriage ministry at the Grove Park Inn, Asheville, NC.

Other benefits will include a section on Wedding News. Here you will find elevant articles on statistics, marriage, divorce and articles written by our members.

As our membership increases, NAWM will add a Store to the site for members to advertise and sell their products.

NAWM is dedicated to establishing wedding ministries as a legitimate and recognized ministry, just as counseling, music, family, youth and couples
ministries have grown and become accepted as legitimate ministries in recent years. Brides and grooms to be are often confused about the legitimacy of a minister that does not have a home church or seminary training. This site helps legetimize ministries by way of membership through an established and professional association.
